Billericay produced a stunning performance at Champions elect Dartford to ease their relegation fears and complete a league double over the runaway leaders in the process.
 
On a gloriously sunny day at Dartford’s Princes Park Stadium, Brian Statham made one change to the side that was defeated at Maidstone on Tuesday night - Greg Oates coming in for a straight swap with Dave McSweeney.

Thursday night saw a young Town team bow out in the 4th Round of the Isthmian League Cup, to what was pretty much a full strength Sittingbourne side. Mindful that the Blues had three games in a week and need to concentrate on their league campaign, Blues Boss Statham selected only Oates, Street, Cleaver and Marsh from squad that had lost to Maidstone on Tuesday night, with Russell Pond also returning after missing that game.

Billericay’s relegation woes continued as they went down 1-0 to fellow strugglers Maidstone United at Ashford Town’s Homelands Stadium.
 
With the Blues league match with Aveley being postponed on the previous Saturday, this meant it was a back to back meeting with the Stones after both sides shared the spoils at New Lodge just 10 days earlier.

Billericay and Maidstone shared the spoils at New Lodge on Saturday as they drew one all. The point keeps Town out of the relegation zone for now, although it is only goal difference preventing them from slipping into the bottom four.
