The Blues twice came from behind to draw with Braintree Town on Saturday, thanks to a brace from James Baker. Braintree's leads had been established by Lee Roache and then George Purcell.
There were two new 18 year old midfielders in the Billericay line-up, both from Leyton Orient - Matt Hall and Darryl Sydes. Sydes was injured 15 minutes after coming on, and was replaced by Hall, who he himself had replaced at half-time.

Billericay wrapped up their pre-season campaign with a win at Maldon Town that was more convincing than the scoreline might suggest. Jo Flack's goal midway through the second half was all that separated the two sides in the final analysis, however Billy Bricknell and Nick Muir both hit the woodwork for Brian Statham's new-look team.
