Former Ebbsfleet United midfielder Danny Slatter has now decided not to sign for Billericay Town, and has accepted a deal with Farnborough.

Brian Statham said "We had shaken hands on the deal, which I thought was good enough. I was keen for Danny to have a medical, which he was reluctant to do. He's now joining Farnborough in a deal that is better financially for him. I'm always disappointed when people aren't as good as their word. I guess I'm guilty of judging somebody by my own standards."
